Event description
Breaking news coming from State F: an intruder tricked the new airport pass system and gained unauthorized access to high-security areas. An investigation revealed that the hacker exploited a vulnerability in the pass issuance process and requested an entry pass without raising any suspicion from the inspectors. This security flaw allowed the hacker to waltz right into the aircraft maintenance area, posing as an employee from the SkyTech Mechanics design bureau.
The alarm was only raised when one of the airport engineers spotted a stranger in the equipment control area. The rapid response team swiftly apprehended the intruder.
The airport management has since ramped up security measures by introducing new control levels and ensuring meticulous checks of all pass requests. Had the perpetrator succeeded in sabotaging the infrastructure with the devices found on him, the incident could have caused damage worth millions of dollars.
